With so many options in Louisville the choices can be overwhelming!
Here are a few places I would want to take out of town visitors
or close friends to catch up over brunch:
Morning Fork:
Locally owned and operated this place specializes in brunch! I highly suggest making reservations in advance on OpenTable as spaces go fast. Housed in an old brick building, it has a homey, inviting ambiance that many find irresistible. I keep going back and trying something new each time.

7 am – 3 pm Wednesday – Sunday

Full Stop Station:
In an old garage there is now a sustainable convenience shop with breakfast food I will not stop driving across town for. They use locally sourced produce and even grow some of it on their patio! What they don’t make in house they get from other small artisanal businesses. I love their matcha latte and avocado toast! Plan on street parking.

Eggs Over Frankfort:
Just opened during the pandemic, this hole-in-the-wall brunch spot has high quality food, and they aren’t pretending to be fancy. Just dependably delicious! It adjoins Crescent Hill Coffee so you can get the complete gourmet brunch experience.
Hours:
Open 8 am – 1 pm Thursday -Tuesday
Closed on Wednesdays
Crescent Hill Coffee is open every day from 7 am – 7 pm
Selena’s at Willow Lake Tavern:
This Creole & Sicilian fusion restaurant is the only one of its kind! Originally in Florida, the family relocated and rebooted their authentic Creole restaurant. Traditional brunch offerings have generous portions and this one is quite affordable and kid friendly.
Serving brunch on Saturdays 10 – 2 & Sundays 10:30 – 2:30
Village Anchor:
This is the home of my favorite candied bacon. If you prefer a boozy brunch, this is where its at. Tucked into the woods in Anchorage, this is a hidden treasure where each dish is bursting with flavor. The creator of Le Moo and Grassa Gramma has lovely aquatic/Victorian theming throughout the Village Anchor.
