
In 2025, the Lou Review fully incorporated the “Lou Review Foundation”, as a 501(c)(3) organization. The Lou Review Foundation leverages podcast storytelling, targeted advertising, strategic networking, and grants to give Louisville’s founders the visibility they need to elevate their missions and businesses- inspiring partnerships and lasting success.
Still in our first year, the Foundation has installed its first board members. The Board is currently working on build out of its programming base, refining our strategic plan, and barreling forward so that we can provide Louisville’s small business founders with tools to promote and grow their customer base.

A lifelong Kentuckiana resident, Sam has had a front-row seat to how local enterprises rise and endure. As he puts it, “the struggle is real”, and simpler words might never have been spoken. Grounded in 30 years of professional experience in disability advocacy—and seasoned by farm life, cheese making, constant tinkering, and a passion for systems—he brings a nimble, results-oriented approach to the Foundation’s first year.

Amy Antony turns advertising savvy, program-management chops, and ops know-how into events that sparkle—and ship on time. Part strategist, part air-traffic controller, she builds inclusive programs that tame complexity, spark collaboration, and feel effortless to everyone else. Offstage, she leads Professional Development + Programs for the Louisville Society for Human Resource Management. and supports AIGA’s Education Committee and the MiraCosta College advisory board.

Award-winning mixologist Heather Wibbels—aka the Cocktail Contessa—is an Executive Bourbon Steward and former Managing Director of Bourbon Women. At Bourbon Women, she led a nationwide community—thousands strong across 37 states—championing education, inclusion, and the joy of whiskey through lively events and programs. She now partners with brands to craft approachable whiskey cocktails and teach flavor pairings that bring the bar home. A Bourbon+ columnist with recipes across major outlets, she’s creating whiskey drinkers one cocktail at a time.
